First of all, HOW IS WEN SO PRETTY?

Seriously! I had seen photos and gifs of them before, so I knew Mix and Earth were good-looking guys, but I was IN NO WAY prepared for how gorgeous they were going to be in motion all lovingly lit and shot by one of Thailand's best cinematographers, damnnnn. Agreed about Mix's clothes as well, it was nice to see someone looking so ordinary and everyday in most of his scenes and it fit much better with the realistic tone of the show and Wen's personality as an easy-going but self-assured guy than if he'd been dressed to the nines all the time.

he was soft in the last two episodes. Soft, smiling, more open. His journey was of quiet healing and it showed if you only bothered to see it.

Yes! Tbh, I'm such a sucker for guys like Jim and UWMA Dean who seem fairly quiet and serious at first and then get all soft and teasing when they're comfortable with the one they love. I was grinning from ear to ear in some of his later scenes with Wen over how he was teasing him. Wen's face when Jim suggested they call each other brothers and Jim's smug little smile over having successfully trolled him... 😂

let's just say that I FEEL YOU, JIM

Haha, yeah, my oldest is 16 as well, so word to that. I felt so much for both Jim and Li Ming in their scenes together. I'm kinda hoping to persuade my daughter to watch with me because I'm curious to see what she thinks and how she reacts to them. It can be a bit tough to get her to agree because she's not as big a romance fan as I am, although she did enjoy Bad Buddy, Cherry Magic, and CLOY, but I like watching stuff with her when I can.

Re: Alan/Gaipa... yeahhhh. I had to rewrite parts of those sections several times because I was afraid I was coming off too harsh. I understand the Alan defenders, I really do. It's SUCH a tough situation to be in and I do agree that Wen should have moved out months before he did. Also the bit where he invited Jim to sleep with him in Alan's bed was not super cool of him, and good on Jim for refusing. But Alan crossed a couple of my very firm lines in the sand with the fighting and drunk driving, and in the real world I'd definitely be warning Gaipa away from him. It doesn't help that I feel like a lot of the Alan defenders are mostly defending him because they like First. I like First, too - he's a hell of an actor and did an amazing job as Alan. But some of the comments I've seen... I just kinda want to be like, "you know it's okay to love an actor and dislike the character he played, right?" On the other hand, I did see a post on Tumblr about it that helped me understand the appeal a little bit more.

the way he teased Jim and Wen and later Gaipa ("How about that bulky veggie delivery guy, huh 😏?" made me laugh)

I loved that scene, it really spoke to his kindness and perceptiveness under all his silliness.

Ha, the cat food got a "Oh! A Convenient Cat Food Moment!" comment from me each time. 😁

Haha, yep! I'll definitely take a cute kitty like that over those weird inhaler things, though, lol.
