Oh, yes! I did the same thing with hold your tongue and let me love - I read it early when I wasn't really into Xiyao, and then ran across it again later and got sideswiped by 'ohhhh, this is how they would work, this is why Xichen believes him because they've shed so many masks together, this is why it hurts so fucking much'.
The only thing about this post that I don't like is how many fics I've already read. *dramatic sigh* Why must our taste be so SIMILAR and GOOD. :P
