Wow, I have seen fewer of these than I realized, and you can definitely tell where my interest pretty much screeched to a halt and failed to ever recover. Honestly, superheroes were always going to be a bit of a hard sell for me (I've never been a comics person), but like half of fandom, I fell in love with Stucky post-CA:TWS. I still have fond memories of it, but TPTB were really determined to give us as little as possible there in those last few Avengers movies, huh? 🙄

I was out of town for quite awhile in the middle of the month and didn't get much reading done during that time, but luckily found some good stuff at the beginning and end to make up for it. Here are some of the fics I enjoyed in March:( MDZS/CQL, Beyond Evil, Yuri on Ice, MCU, RPF )

I watch fanvids for a lot more fandoms than I read fanfic for, and one of the things I like to do is compare how vidders from different fandoms use the same song. Sometimes it's quite similar; other times amazingly different. See the two Umbrella vids below for an especially diametrically opposite approach!

I thought it might be fun to make a little list of vids I know from different fandoms that are set to the same song. This is by no means a complete list of vids for each song, let alone of songs that have vids from multiple fandoms! However, these are all vids I enjoyed enough to rec, and some are recent or even all-time favorites. It's going to be heavy on Cdrama fandoms since they're what I'm watching the most right now.

I enjoy fanfics in which an author with very specific knowledge uses that knowledge to bring their stories to life with interesting and immersive details. It always reminds me of that famous George R.R. Martin quote:

A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies. The man who never reads lives only one.
