I had another slow reading month, both in fanfic and books. I finished only three fics in September, including:

• an Only Friends Sand/Ray/Boeing threesome fic (3k, explicit)
• a Seventeen RPF Seungcheol/Jeonghan/Mingyu omegaverse threesome fic (16k, explicit)
• a Devil Judge omegaverse Yo-han/Ga-on fic (6k, explicit)

At least this little collection has a pleasing Venn diagram-like quality to it, even if the quantity is disappointing.

The other day I was looking at my 2023 fic reading stats post for unrelated reasons and got to the line about hoping to find a new "large and active fiction-based fandom" in 2024 and had a sad little laugh. That very much has NOT happened so far and I've neither read nor written much fic this year as a result. Being in between major fandoms is the worst.

October was particularly bad because I was traveling again for most of it (work-related) and while I enjoy traveling and am quite happy with what I accomplished, it also leaves me even less time to sift through my favorite tags in search of anything to capture my interest.

Anyway, that's all a lead-up to the unfortunate fact that I only have one single rec this month. 🥲

I love nattering about ships so I decided to do this one even though I'm a very new Seventeen fan and there's still literally thousands of hours of canon content that I haven't seen, let alone the 34k+ fanworks they're tagged in, of which I have read about, er, 20 at this point.
