With Twitter taken over by a right-wing billionaire (and potentially on its last legs entirely due to his mismanagement), I've seen a couple new friending memes here on Dreamwidth: one general fandom and one specifically for the MDZS/The Untamed fandom.

thisaintbc is running a multifandom event celebrating rarepairs this weekend (June 25 & 26) that sounds like fun. Full details here.

Yesterday was the first anniversary of Word of Honor's premiere and it was honestly kind of a bittersweet occasion. I have such fond memories of the excitement and squee of spring as the show was airing and during the concert, but it was followed by the utter, unresolved awfulness of 813. Hopefully by this time next year, Zhang Zhehan will be able to return to public life, if he wishes to do so. Meanwhile, though my fic reading has slowed down since its height last spring, I have every intention of staying stubbornly on the mountain for the foreseeable future. 🏔️

I had fun yesterday browsing the #1YearWithWordOfHonor hashtag on Twitter and also wanted to signal boost a small prompt fest going on in honor of the 1st anniversary: Word of Honor 1st Year Prompt Fest. Hopefully the fandom can enjoy some fun new fics as part of the anniversary celebration!

muccamukk has issued a challenge to fans to write a fandom, character, or ship manifesto for fanifesto or to post as meta on AO3 between now and March 31.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who misses the manifestos on crack_van , ship_manifesto , and similar communities! They were often really fun reads even if I had no interest in the fandom or ship.

I'll have to think about it and see if I can come up with anything I feel qualified to write. ~contemplates favorite rarepairs~
