Han Joo Won can shake hands if he has to, if he’s very, very careful. It’s even possible, sometimes, to briefly hold a vision at bay. But he prefers not to risk it, unless it’s absolutely necessary. He prefers to simply not touch people at all.

(Or, Lee Dong Sik has a vision and saves Lee Yoo Yeon all those years ago . . . but somehow, reluctantly, Joo Won ends up his partner, anyway.)

Good Manager Fic Recs



The downside of getting into kdramas is that most of them have hardly any fic. There's a mere 70 works for this cute drama, which is sometimes alternately known as Chief Kim. It's about a clever and chaotic mob accountant who joins a large corporation hoping to embezzle money and ends up fighting corporate corruption instead. The onscreen romance is minimal but sweet, and there's a funny bromance between the main character, Kim Sung-ryong, and his nemesis, Seo Yul. Seo Yul is played by 2PM's Lee Junho and is arrogant, competent, ruthless, constantly decked out in perfectly tailored suits, and an absolute disaster of a human being who's a maximum of about two seconds from some kind of meltdown at any given moment. He's also eating something in probably 90% of his scenes, lol. Where is the fandom for this man??? I liked the FL and a bunch of the secondary characters as well.

Joining Forces, Kim Sung-ryong/Seo Yul, >1k, general audiences

The line between bickering and genuine flirting had been becoming increasingly blurred.

RPF Fic Recs

Have You Eaten?, Zhang Zhehan/Gong Jun, 56k, explicit

When Zhehan parks, he turns the car all the way off and looks over at Gong Jun. Rain sluices down the windshield and the world outside vanishes. There’s something questioning in Zhehan's face, maybe a little expectant. And—okay, Gong Jun has looked. Zhehan is professionally hot, and even after six weeks of being in close quarters with the man, his attractiveness has not been worn away by his personality or ego. Gong Jun might have been binging the last season of Prestige with the rest of the country, but even a highbrow drama series got Zhehan mostly naked in a few episodes, and—he’s hot, okay?

“Do you wanna come up and wait out the rain?” he asks. He’s not a hundred percent sure of the vibe here—he’s not even confident Zhehan is into men at all. But maybe. Maybe.
