I love nattering about ships so I decided to do this one even though I'm a very new Seventeen fan and there's still literally thousands of hours of canon content that I haven't seen, let alone the 34k+ fanworks they're tagged in, of which I have read about, er, 20 at this point. So any of this could change as I learn more.
1. Current Brainworm inducing ship
Jeonghan/Mingyu (Gyuhan). Seventeen in the Soop was some of the first Seventeen content I watched aside from their music videos and dance practices, and I think I kind of imprinted on Mingyu feeding Jeonghan by hand and opening bottles for him, as well as the Gyuhan boat scene, but honestly, everything I've learned about them since has only made me crazier. They just cannot be normal around each other.
Why are they like this??? ðŸ˜
2. Ship you didn't Get but now do
Mingyu/Seungkwan (Boogyu). When I was first getting into Seventeen, I didn't think they interacted much compared to ships like Gyuhan, DK/Mingyu (Seokgyu), and of course Seungkwan/Vernon (Verkwan), and was confused why they're a relatively popular ship, but I later realized my mistake and it's now my second favorite ship for both of them. It's such a cute combination of bickering and sweetness.
3. Ship you could be Deranged about if you gave it more attention
S.Coups/Jeonghan (Jeongcheol). Because I fell for Gyuhan so quickly, I've never paid as much attention to Jeongcheol, but they're interesting for some of the same reasons as Gyuhan, and some equally appealing but different ones as well.
4. Ship you fell in love with at first sight
Verkwan! They're my Seventeen OTP for sure. I don't even believe in soulmates in any kind of literal sense, but they're out there being Actual Soulmates in front of everyone's salad?
Sometimes literally, lol.
5. Fav ship with <100 fics in the tag
I'm not sure that I have one yet
6. Ship nobody else Gets like you do
I haven't read enough fic to have an answer to this one yet.
7. Ship you haven't written for yet but you have Worms
I haven't written any SVT fic yet, but I'm rolling around some Mingyu/Seungkwan/Vernon (Verkwangyu) thoughts that might or might not ever amount to anything.
8. Favourite popular ship
Verkwan, but to add more variety to my answers, I really like Hoshi/Woozi (Soonhoon), too. I like the opposites attract vibes, and Hoshi's uncomplicated affection (jagiya!) contrasted with Woozi's combination of affection and exasperation. They're another ship I kind of imprinted on watching Seventeen in the Soop, where they were practically joined at the hip.

I know I'm going to forget something here, but here's a stab at it
S.Coups: Jeongcheol and the 95z OT3
Jeonghan: Gyuhan, Jeonghan/Joshua (Jihan), and Jeongcheol are my top three, but he has interesting relationships with most of them.
Joshua: mostly Jihan and the 95z OT3, but I'm also pretty intrigued by Joshua/Hoshi (Soonsoo) and Joshua/DK (Seoksoo) and enjoy his friendship with Vernon
Jun: I don't have strong shipping opinions about Jun yet, but Jun/The8 (8Jun) seems sweet
Hoshi: Soonhoon, but I'm also interested in Soonsoo and like his friendships with Wonwoo and the 97z trio and the way they tend to baby him even though he's the hyung; this Hoshi/The8 (Soonhao) moment makes me a little feral in, um, other directions, though
Wonwoo: I don't have strong shipping opinions about Wonwoo either, but I like his friendships with Mingyu and Hoshi and the way he takes care of Vernon and Dino
Woozi: Soonhoon, and I like his cute friendships with Mingyu and Vernon
DK: Another one I don't have strong shipping opinions about, though I've been meaning to look more into Seoksoo, and I love his playful friendships with most of them
Mingyu: Gyuhan and Boogyu are my two favorites, but he's such a friendly, outgoing guy that he has chemistry, cute friendships, or both with literally everyone.
The8: I'm intrigued by Soonhao, 8Jun, and the 97z OT3, but honestly love his friendships best, especially with Mingyu and Vernon
Seungkwan: Verkwan, then Boogyu
Vernon: Verkwan and only Verkwan, tbh, but I love his friendships with Dino, Minghao, Woozi, Wonwoo, Mingyu, and Joshua
Dino: I don't have any Dino ships, but the sibling vibes among the maknae line delight me, whether they're being sweet or bickering, and the level of Done that Dino is with being constantly stuck third wheeling for Verkwan while they're Verkwanning in his face is hilarious. Somebody rescue the poor man 😂

hhu: Um, hmm, no strong ships with these four, I ship S.Coups and Vernon more along age lines than unit lines. Minwon by default, I guess

Oh gosh, I'm torn between Gyuhancheol, the 95z OT3, and Verkwangyu, and no, it is absolutely not coincidence that Mingyu, Jeonghan, or both are in all three. They both have such interesting relationships with each other and pretty much every other member. The 97z OT3 also intrigues me.
