I understand the Alan defenders, I really do. It's SUCH a tough situation to be in and I do agree that Wen should have moved out months before he did. Also the bit where he invited Jim to sleep with him in Alan's bed was not super cool of him, and good on Jim for refusing.
Oh, absolutely! Wen should've moved out when he said they broke up because, well, that's what you do? Or at least make it VERY clear that it was over (NO PITY SEX FFs!) Sure, getting a new apartment might take time but let's be real, Wen isn't poor! He had the finances to move out if he bothered to do it. And that was a sort of confusing blind moment for Wen to ask Jim to sleep with him because they were in Wen and Alan's home. That wasn't Wen's space, that was his former life. But eh.
BUT. BUT BUT BUT. Alan was massively unprofessional and stalkerish AND picking a fight (which he would've lost if it ever was a real thing, so it's a good thing Jim wanted nothing to do with that). Like. Yikes. The tumblr post made sense, sure, but I think it's the desperation turned toxic that made me nope the fuck out.
