Until We Meet Again Fic Recs
This reincarnation/fated lovers drama was released in 2019, which in the extremely fast-changing world of Thai BL makes it basically a classic and already slightly dated in some ways (including a strong seme/uke dynamic) that were, um, mildly annoying although not show-ruining for me. Despite those minor issues, I laughed, I cried, I swooned, and overall I liked it a lot. The main couple is sweet and romantic in both lifetimes, despite the tragedy that befalls the original pair, and there's also a fun side couple, some good family relationships and female friendships, and a great deal of food porn to enjoy.
If you've never seen the drama and think you might want to give it a shot, please be warned that there is ⚠️ a fairly graphic double suicide in the opening scene, and flashbacks to the suicides and the events leading up to them, which include physical abuse and homophobia, at multiple points throughout the show.
The majority of fic in the fandom centers around the secondary couple, Win & Team (the pair on the far left in the image above), but they're getting a show of their own in November, so I've been holding off on looking for fic for them. This fic is a short PWP about the main couple (middle pair in the image above), but I really enjoyed the characterization, so it was among the standouts from my fic reading this month.
all to myself, none for anyone else, Dean/Pharm, 5k, explicit
Pharm's trembling slightly, trying to keep it in check. Dean probably shouldn't have sprung that on him, but when else could he ask? When was better than the two of them with the patter of rain outside, Pharm's fairylights making the space close, golden, twinkling like a dream?
