Here are some of the fics I enjoyed in January:
Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves Fic Recs
A hilarious Yuletide read
Monster Manual, Edgin Darvis/Xenk Yendar, 2k, explicit
Moonlight Chicken Fic Recs
holding me like water in your hands, Jim/Wen, 7k, explicit
does not waver, does not change, Jim/Wen, 9k, mature
Happy reading!

The fucking annoying thing is, it isn’t even Edgin who sets off the trap, it’s Xenk. Was it because he was distracted listening to Edgin rant about how hard it is to get goblin snot out of a tapestry? Maybe! Is Edgin fucking pissed that the trap hit him instead of Xenk and now Edgin is turning into some kind of lizard? Definitely.

“Do you trust me?”
His heart could still be beating in his chest or maybe it had halted completely - at this point he wouldn’t be able to tell the difference. It was a foreign feeling in some ways.
Usually he was on the other side of this, looking down at Wen who always had the same devastating reverence written all over his face that was there now. So this was different, wasn’t it, to be so totally and wholly at the mercy of someone else?
But then again wasn’t he always, with Wen?
Then again didn’t he always want to be?
-
Jim has baggage; he can't put it down, but maybe Wen can help him carry it. Or: a study on Jim's past and ongoing relationship to intimacy.

The truth was that Jim never thought he'd get married; he had never thought it would even be possible. Now it is.
Happy reading!
